MOTUL 300V Competition 0W-40 is a high-performance racing engine oil with ESTER Core® technology for petrol and diesel engines. It is intended for naturally aspirated, turbocharged or supercharged engines in competition and tuned vehicles where stable oil pressure, a dependable oil film and protection at high engine speeds and temperatures are essential.
SAE 0W-40 viscosity supports fast oil-pressure build-up at start-up and stability under severe loads. The metal container holds 2 L. Check the required viscosity and oil-change interval before use, and browse our other engine oils and lubricants.
MOTUL 300V Competition 0W-40 is a racing engine oil for high-performance four-stroke petrol and diesel engines. It is suitable for naturally aspirated, turbocharged and supercharged engines with direct or indirect injection or carburettors. The oil is designed for tuned and competition vehicles operating across a wide range of engine speeds and temperatures under demanding driving conditions.
ESTER Core® technology combines ester-based and other high-performance base stocks with a dedicated additive package. Optimised oil-film adhesion to metal surfaces helps reduce friction, maintain shear stability and improve engine protection and response. The formula is also designed for increased oxidation resistance, oil-consumption control and engine cleanliness.
The oil is intended for circuit racing, rallying, GT racing, endurance events, drifting, hill climbs, historic racing, track days and tuned road vehicles. It is compatible with petrol, diesel and biofuels, particularly ethanol up to E85. The official MOTUL technical data sheet states LSPI protection and compatibility with particulate filters requiring a reduced SAPS level. According to MOTUL, the organic base made from renewable non-fossil materials reduces the manufacturing carbon footprint by 25%.
Use SAE 0W-40 only when this viscosity is approved by the engine manufacturer or vehicle tuner. Adapt the oil-change interval to actual use and load. For optimum performance, MOTUL advises against mixing this oil with other synthetic or mineral lubricants. Browse our other engine oils and lubricants.
