MOTUL 5100 10W-40 4T for daily and recreational riding
MOTUL 5100 10W-40 4T is a high-performance motorcycle engine oil for modern four-stroke road and off-road bikes. It is suitable for engines with or without an integrated gearbox and for wet- or dry-clutch designs. It may also be used in motorcycles fitted with catalytic converters or secondary air systems whenever the manufacturer specifies SAE 10W-40.
NGEN Core® technology combines re-refined and virgin base oils, while Technosynthese® Ester supports oil-film adhesion and protection of highly loaded components. Balanced friction characteristics help the wet clutch engage consistently and the gearbox shift accurately. The formulation also helps control wear, oxidation and loss of performance at elevated operating temperatures.
Applications and sustainability
The oil is designed for daily and recreational riding and may also suit ATVs, UTVs, side-by-sides, personal watercraft and snowmobiles when their manuals require the same viscosity and standards. The bottle contains 50% recycled plastic and is fully recyclable through the appropriate local collection stream.
